I have this issue on my PC as well, which also uses PulseAudio. I've tried doing a few things like changing the Wine versions, and changing some PulseAudio variables, but I'm unable to get rid of the popping. I did do export PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=0 (then restart Deck) which seemed to reduce it...
