    Favorite Period of PSO?

PSO was my favorite game on the Gamecube, and I kept going crazy with it long after all my friends moved on to other things. I think it was my second true video game addiction, and I guess it's just fate that I'm back in it now. I never played any other version of it, and I never even got to...

    Invisible character, unable to move

I was just in a rather weird game a little while ago in which many weird things happened. I'll try to describe what went down in as much detail as I can. I joined an open party and the two players in it when I joined left. I played by myself for a little while, and then another player joined me...

    Recommendation for handheld with PSO?

Phantasy Star Zero on the DS is kind of fun, but I haven't touched it in a long time and I remember it generally being pretty tedious. I think I really only got it to scratch that PSO itch, which I guess it sort of did. I don't remember if it even has multiplayer or not, but being a regular DS...

    Renewed my hunter's license...

As a fellow returning long-time fan, it was great to play with someone in a similar situation. Welcome to the party, pal.

    animu

I live near where Sentai Filmworks is based, and every Tuesday they have an event where they show the first four episodes of a series they've recently licensed. That's basically my weekly shot of anime, though admittedly I don't typically pick up most of the series they show. They did license...

    Suggestions

Is it possible to run the game in widescreen? It's not my intention to be all server vs server, but you can do it through the launcher on Ultima. It's definitely not essential though. I just sort of like having a wider field of view.

How do /you/ control this game personally?

Wow, somehow I didn't even think to try that. Now I can use the D-pad for the menu, and I can actually play this game with the gamepad. I consider this my karma for stealing this controller in the first place and now I HAVEN'T LEARNED MY LESSON. Thanks!

How do /you/ control this game personally?

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately I just gave that a shot, and trying to assign menu navigation to the D-pad just makes my character walk around, and the right stick is totally screwy. The gamepad I have is super bootleg though (I stole it from a housemate in Japan after he left the country...

How do /you/ control this game personally?

I have a PS3-style gamepad, but I just tried to use it with this game and it's wack. I can't figure out how to remap the controls (or just the inputs from the gamepad), so currently there are some oddities: 1. You open the menu by clicking either joystick. 2. The left stick controls movement...

    It's good to be back!

Well, back in this game, that is. Unless there are any Schthack refugees who played there maybe 3-4 years ago, I doubt anyone will recognize me. And even then, probably not... Anyway, PSO was my favorite game on the Gamecube back in the day, and I've been looking for an excuse to play it again...
