Ensure that your antivirus has psobb.exe and ephinea.dll added to the exceptions. When the game loads ensure that it says ephinea 1.x.x in the bottom left. If it says !DLL ERROR! your antivirus is blocking the DLL.

You could try disabling G Sync. Although it's supposed to improve the smoothness of games its been reported to actually cause pausing and stuttering in some games.

As Colette said. You can use windows/driver utility to adjust your analog stick dead zones. PSO doesn't offer any dead zone options so will need to be done via the game pad driver.

You have to alter the palette in game after you push the palette to the game even if its to change one of the blue/green/red buttons and then change back. When you then disconnect it'll save.

If you push the palette and then edit the palette in game. Change one of the Blue/Green/Red buttons then back out. when you disconnect whatever was pushed to the client from the palette manager will save.

Could you try running a constant ping test to the ephinea server and then when you DC see if you also had request timed outs in the ping test. May also want to run a ping to google dns along side it to see if its an issue that affects just the connection to ephinea or if it affects your internet...

It can occur on laptops with 2 video adapters. Plugging in an external monitor would then enable you to select a resolution. But running install.reg defaults the options to 640x480 so should enable you to check the save password box also.

I could add this but as people may know trying to run PSOBB in unsupported resolutions of your system will cause PSOBB to crash on load. So I may not be able to actually test it. I may just add an option of "Custom". Where players can specify their own resolution and aspect ratios.
