It's a 2D side-scrolling adventure game with RPG elements and sandbox-like mechanics (i.e. you have building blocks). The game has a heavy focus on combat, exploration and progression and I cannot recommend it enough.
I was hesitant to play it at first because I thought it was just MineCraft 2D (as many people think), but it's not really close to that at all, it is its own thing.

Gotta buy it, £6.99, but definitely worth the money.
