Hi All,

I am a long time PSO player, a HUcast called SE.

Just downloading the client now, looking foward to playing with you all on what looks like a great server!

Just to ask some questions, can any one help with the below?

- Is there an item database anywhere?
- Is the a mag feeding guide anywhere?
- What should I do with presents?
- Why do my games start with 200% exp?
- Can hardcore users trade items with normal users?

5: No, it doesn't allow you to pick up the item of someone from different 'type' account.
 
Any regular PSO item DB can be used for Ephinea (i.e. one that isn't specific to a private server) since there are hardly any extra items here since the server is mostly based off Vanilla PSOBB.

Presents, you should just open them straight away! They give various goodies that may or may not be useful. The higher the difficulty, the better the reward. Find out more information about them here.

Games start with 200% EXP right now because the community earned the 108% kill milestone for the previous week, rewarding everything with double EXP for a week. This page should explain it enough.

And no, they can't. The economies of HC and Normal are completely separate.

Thanks guys - do you know if damage cancel is still an issue? It dosn't seem to be?
 
Damage Cancel most definitely exists, but most people don't care.
 
Normally they are just white photon weapons. With joke animations.

For example, a rod that swings like a Partisan. But this Xmas some have been given % hit and Charge Special.

The ones currently available with special are the current Xmas drops only. (see Xmas thread).

Yes, they're are. They all vary. They ones in the event are mostly the same.

You can tell from the name.
Before slash is the weapon function, and after is what it looks like. Well from what I can tell mostly? Some betray this and are a bit confusing though. You can see them all in the link I gave.

Examples (3/5 current event ones):
typeME/Mechgun means Mechgun/Mechgun. (is just straight out mechguns)

typeDS/Rod means DoubleSaber/Rod (is a double saber animation/wep but looks like a rod).

typeN-SL/Slicer means not Slicer?? / Slicer (is not a Slicer, it's the Slicer animation/weapon but acts like a melee weapon with one target).
