This year was the most successful anniversary event ever. I hope this proves the event should continue to be done as is - with small additions here and there - instead of starting over completely from scratch. Tradition has value, and the proof is in how many players showed up and played their hearts out.The badge-to-bank system was great thank you. It's kind of unfortunate that the milestone system wasn't changed much but it's understandable given the context like I discussed with Ender in-game already, but it ended up being something of a blessing due to the large population this year filling up the goals very quickly. I'm still looking forward to see what is being cooked with the new system next year!
hello i would like to formally and politely state that I disagree with ade's position
i had a great time this anniversary too andbutalso happily support the staff's previously-stated ideas regarding potential changes because new quests sound cool
p.s. what is everyone's opinion on soup
Yeah, I'd love to see new quests. The most fun additions to the servers the past few years have been the multi-spawn quests (December Disaster, August Atrocity), and Esther's quests (love looking for the secrets in those). Not everyone is a hunt-efficiency addict and new quests allow the game to stay fresh and retain that sense of wonder and discovery.
Honestly, I missed the event completely this year. I kept thinking about logging in to knock out an Atrocity or two, but time flies.
