Sometimes over time the gpu can get chocked up and start acting weird causing display issues and degrade game performance. try re-installing the GPU.

yeah it seems to be a decent set up. ummm so you said that when you exit the game the screen turns black. did you try alt+tab? have you tried windows key? nvm those are just temporary fixes. ok so have you tried reinstalling the GPU?

Yeah so uh, I have had the same issues as you so I just switched to windowed and it fixed it. so maybe try that.
