A> Rico's Earring [85/85 | 24/25] CHB: 21 PD

I am truly sorry. I mistook it for a Red Ring. If possible, could I place a new bid of 99 PD? Please have mercy.

If you really want this item, I think it's worth bidding on.
If not, I think the right thing to do is to withdraw your bid—for the sake of others who want the item.

I might need to defer to the staff on that. While I do agree with Ruel's sentiment, the auction rules note that you cannot retract the bid if you're the CHB, so I'm currently unsure if lowering your bid is even allowed per that.

Since the mistake was mine, I leave the decision to the GM, but if I win the auction, I plan to put the item up for auction again. I apologize for the inconvenience caused to the seller and the bidders.

I see myself as a cautious person. Even I made the same mistake at first, because 85/25 is such a classic stat combination that it immediately looked like an RR. That’s why I thought withdrawing the bid was allowed.

@Vita Q Since I really haven't heard anything back yet, I'm just gonna go ahead and say you can retract or lower the bid if you want. I'm not gonna be too chaffed over it, and I'd prefer people bidding on it if they actually want it. And if there's any administration issues there, they can be discussed later.

Whatever you do, just let me know so I can update and let the timer continue.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness, Toltage.
The GM's stance on this auction was that, even if an agreement had been reached, the bid could not be withdrawn or altered.

Therefore, cancelling my bid would result in the suspension of my forum account, but I have decided to accept that consequence. This will allow the auction to continue without my bid.

Once again, I apologize for the trouble I have caused the seller and the other bidders. I would also like to thank the GMs who took the time to discuss this matter with me, as well as The Ancient Calico Cat for sharing their perspective. (I am using a translation app, so some nuances may be slightly off.)

No problem with me personally, we all make mistakes. My apologies if my English is confusing!

As of this post, @にっこり is current CHB at 15 PD, and countdown is still on track with about 38 hours to go.
