Login issue

I apologize if this has already been discussed somewhere, I did search the forum and looked through the FAQs, but this specific login issue is one I didn't find.

I have registered through the website and verified. When I go to log into the game and enter my credentials, it sends me back to the menu screen with Start Game highlighted in white. I click on it and it sends me back to Input ID. And this is all it does. There is no error message, no indication that it isn't taking my registration, no password or username error, it just will not log me in. I have also done the Register ID on the menu, and same issue.

I have already done the DEP thing as well.
 
Make sure that you signed up for a game account and not just a forum account, as those are 2 separate things.
 
You can't click on Start Game at the main menu (assuming you mean you're using the mouse to click on it). You have to use a controller or keyboard arrows to move up/down.

Or you can scroll the mouse wheel up/down at the main menu.

It's an old game that's essentially a port of an Xbox game. Mouse support was not really implemented beyond very simple mouse controls.
