Hi all, just thought i would post here as i am completely new to PSO and thought now was a good time to check it out. Im a big Giant Bomb fan and watching Jeff over there play around with PSO and PSO2 made me want to give it a shot. Looking forward to the PC release of PSO2 as well.

Not really sure what im doing yet, but the game still has a undeniable charm to it and i can already see why its so well remembered, is there anything i should read up on to figure things out better?

Only thing thats taking me some getting used to is the camera control, only being able to center the camera and not having direct control is a throwback to another time but its not so bad.

Thanks for any advice!

EEEEeeeee! *POUNCES and looks over Sanity-san carefully while wearing a tiny pink HAZMAT suit!* It Never ceases to Geek Mew out that passionate NEW people somehow Still find their way to our little tribe! You are So Right with noting the "Charm" that radiates and pulses with this 19 year old pixelated gem of a game! PSO2 is GORGEOUS, but Everyone's who's played it All came running back saying the SAME thing! "It just doesn't have the same CHARM as the original!". We actually have a Forums Wiki and even a few players guides if you're curious as to WHAT or How to play! Sounds like you're using ONLY a keyboard to play PSO with your camera issues. Think keyboard kombat users need to use the UP arrow to center your camera. You will also find molesting the mouse wheel will zoom in and out. Any WIRED USB type control pad is plug and play. XBOX360/ONE/PS4 pads are the norm here. Wireless/bluetooth pads if mew has heard correctly require going into your PC settings and "prioritizing" your wireless device? Other than that, For an old game, you will find it and the players here quite cozy and endearing while slaughtering the native wildlife~! That said...VERY Happy you're liking what you see here and will stay among us dear! Welcome Home! =3

Thanks, i am actually using a xbox controller its just taking me a bit to get used to with not being able to control the camera is all, (i am right that all you can do is center it and not actually move it?) I have been reading some guides and my biggest question mark is still what the hell am i suppose to feed my mag and im sorta scared of screwing up, not really sure what im doing so not sure if mistakes early on are going to hurt later, but other then that im enjoying tinkering with the game!
