It feels great being able to play pso again. Just customizing the keys and placing the attacks in a great rhythm. I hope to meet other players that can join me in the days to come.

I was introduced to this server by a friend of my who I played PSO with at the time. He really enjoys this game, and we've been grinding the missions for a bit.

I hope to work one another char soon.

Looking Forward to Pouncing and Playing wiff you too Sinve-san! Welcome Home! =3

Currently started 2 chars, Started with a HUmar, and then started playing with a RAcast. Both are great, even though one doesn't use tp. The use of traps with the RAcast took a lot of time to get use to, still figuring out how long does it take before you can use traps again.

The RAcast is: Likud-57Z

The HUmar is: Sinventus

Welcome aboard, mate! Always nice to see new people come into the community! :D

I've spent a lot of time on the RAcast over the last couple decades, so I can offer a little bit of advice there:

You can drop a new trap after the last one activates.

A key bit of trap-using technique is learning how to drop a trap and shoot it yourself to trigger that trap. When you drop a trap, it bobs up and down in the air a bit; you want to get good at shooting it as soon as it hits the lowest point of travel. The ability to do this lets you deal with the occasional mob of enemies that get right up in your face- like if enemies spawn in right on top of you. Ice Traps are key for this, but in a real pinch you can also use Confuse Traps.\

It'll take some practice. I learned it by- once I was upwards of level 60 or so- going into Forest 1 on Normal difficulty, where I could let Booma mobs swarm me without killing me. It's probably the safest and fastest way to learn. Just wait until you have three or more Boomas in your face, practically block-locking you; then practice dropping a Freeze Trap and shooting it as soon as it descends from its launch position. The timing is the same regardless of trap type, but practically speaking Freeze Traps are what makes androids able to be bad-ass while skipping all 20-whatever Techs the fleshies get in the game.

Just created a FOnewman, but I'm not so sure about whether I will keep him or just create a new force.

So far, the HUmar and RAcast have been working out well. The levels aren't equal to each other, but it'll get there.

Just need to find the right strategy for the forces.

"/bank" could be pretty important. Forces are so dependant on fluids, but also benefit from the other things you'll pick up by playing a Ranger or Hunter, first. Technique disks, frames, slot items, amplifiers, even weapons. Being able to raise a Mag (extra Mags begin dropping in Episode 1 Mines) before you play the Force would also be a huge advantage; while you have it equipped your Mag's Mind improves your Force's MST for purposes of how much TP you have and what techniques you can learn (and you can still use those higher level techniques without the Mag if you have enough TP). While transferring these things was possible in offline multiplayer on consoles, I think being able to switch between a character specific and a shared bank is a huge improvement, to say nothing of having a way around the 4 character slots per memory card limitation with "/cbank" on Ephinea, so you can actually play around with more character classes and Section IDs.

All of the above is just if you want to do-it-yourself. I hear there are other people who play this game, too. ;)

YAS! It's almost common practice that ppl would use another Damage sponge class JUST to halp raise their Squishy FO's starting out! FO's often cost us MOAR than 'Monies'....they cost us our SANITY! XD! Hang in there!! Nothing Worth Doing is ever 'Easy!' We'll be with you All the way~! <3
