Hi everyone,

So today I was remembering my times playing SAB2 and how i remember hearing about getting a tails chao from PSO, transferring it to the GBA, and then into sab2.

So I starting searching the internet and found some guy named nash playing the game from Ontario Canada. I’ve always liked playing private servers of other games and sega being sega I know I’d love this game.

Am I able to route this through my GameCube using a DNS code?

Hope to play with you guys and experience this game for the first time :)

SQUEEeeeee! *POUNCES and examines you carefully~!* Well, for ONE this should be transferred over to the INTRODUCTIONS Threads~! =P. Wonderful hearing how your buddy had inadvertently guided you into our direction~! Not sure if it was a 'TAILS'Chao that was transferable, but we certainly still have the Chao and RoboChao MAGS here! NO, we don't support the nightmare that are the consoles here dear. There is still some other half dead privare server out there that supports DC/GC....Sylverant was it? Anywho.....Looking forward to pouncing and playing wiff you too~! Welcome Home! =3

Dreamcast and GameCube are still playable online, but you have to use a server that supports them. This server only supports BB.

PSO on GC and PSOBB are fundamentally different and can't use the same servers. PSOBB (this private server) is the most up to date version of the game, including an entire extra "episode" of content. On top of that, many private servers (this one included) add additional content through quests and other events. I highly recommend playing basically any of the PSOBB private servers over the GC/Dreamcast ones, and this is the most populated one afaik. It'll run on any PC someone would actually use today and is super simple to setup. You can also play the game with a controller if you wish.

I hope you stick around and give the game a shot, it's a very different experience from anything else out today. The pace of the game is extremely uncommon in other looters and the simplicity of the game loop is quite addictive. The community here is great and just about anybody in game would be willing to help get you started. Very wholesome group for the most part, we all just want to share our love for this game.

Crazy to see someone completely new joining the game as 85% of players are returning for nostolgia

GC is playable but its important to note that it has a population of like 10 on a good day

It definitely has its dedicated players but if you're looking for a more multiplayer experience I would recommend BB

Also I think you can just create gear in GC due to the fact your power can go out and you'll FSOD. Wouldn't be the case in BB as you would have to find/trade for everything

The GC population has been rising with the release of BBA support for Nintendont. You can now play online with Wii and Wii U without needing a physical disc. GameCube and Dolphin still work, too. Scht hit 30 GC players online the other night.

To be fair, you can get the game running on some weak computers if that's an issue. I still play dreamcast but not online, its too vanilla lmao
