Hey everyone, my name is Xardocs. I just recently downloaded the game and made an account. Tried playing a little bit but was a little lost on what to do. My first Phantasy Star game was Phantasy Star Universe on Xbox 360. After that I have played Phantasy Star II, Phantasy Star Portable 1 & 2 and Phantasy Star Online 2. I never got a chance to play PSOBB because of the time I was at a game store, I think it was Game Crazy or something like that, I was actually holding a copy of PSOBB because it looked interesting but the guy at the counter told me it was garbage and I shouldn't get it. So I missed out =(.
 
Hi! It's definitely fun, although a bit addicting too. :) As for getting started, I'm still pretty new here too, but the community from what I've seen is extremely nice and helpful, especially to new players. Let me know if you need any help or just someone to play with!

*POUNCES and hugs Xardoc-san carefully!* DON'T FOR A SECOND 'Feel you 'missed out' dear! The online community back then was RAMPANT with Hacking and Toxic players! Feel relieved that you can actually start FRESH on a server free of hacking and Toxic asshats who's idea of 'fun' were to corrupt other players files and trolling just because they could! PSU and the others were nicely done visually but MEH on gameplay IMO. Even PSO2 was/is GORGEOUS...but Everyone who's played it all came running back saying the SAME thing..."It just doesn't have the same CHARM as the original!". So...revel in the 'new Nostalgia' feelz here dear! Welcome to Ephinea....Welcome Home! =3

I have a question that maybe you could help me with? I feel like I may be doing something wrong but everytime I die I get kicked to the main menu and I have to make a new character. Is that supposed to happen? I feel like the game is incredibly hard already.

Hey! I would definitely be down to play if I could figure out how to keep a character lol.
