Server maintenance has concluded for April 28th, 2019.

The following changes were made to the game:

- The Easter event has been deactivated.
- "Mericarand" and random monster support has been added to the ships.
- You can now change your HUD resolution when using the high res HUD from the launcher.
- Fixed a mag evolution bug when purposefully skipping an every 5th level check by leveling 2 stats at once when Mag is Lv 50+.
- Change ratio of weapon type drops in Ultimate Challenge mode to be more like Normal Challenge mode.
- A new /gamefilter command which will only list games you can actually join when checking the ships.

What does this mean?

Mericarol, Mericus, and Merikle are all the same base monster. There's a parameter that's used to differentiate them. 0 = mericarol, 1/2 for Mericus/Merikle. There's also a value of 3 used in some official quests like EP2 Challenge 3. This value is meant to be Mericarol 80% of the time, Mericus 10% of the time, and Merikle 10% of the time. So now the monster for that Mericarol spawn is determined.

Some other quests use this value for Mericarol as well, such as MA4 2B's lower area of the dam in CCA. I know some older version of Lost Devil's Scepter used Mericarand for at least one spawn in Jungle, although I'm not 100% sure if that version of LDS was ever on Ephinea. But the vast majority of Mericarols are just Mericarol.

If anyone is able to use quedit and make a list of all the Mericarand spawns I would love to know these.

For now I know:

MA4-2A x1
MA4-2B x2
2c3 x1
2c5 x1

If anyone spots any Mericarands or can read quedit and finds this info out please let me know!

The West Tower 9F has 3 Mericarands.

I already fixed it, at least on Auldrant. I will update the other two ships when HBR is refreshed.

Free field Mericarand isn’t working right now, though. Only quests.

EDIT: OK, free field will work once I update all 3 ships for the new HBR.
