Welp, been a several years since I've fallen off the wagon and become stupidly addicted to this game yet again, so here we are.

DC, Gamecube, Xbox, Official BB, Schthack, yep, I've been around. When I got the urge to play again back, I found out about the data loss on that last one I figured I'd reroll here.

Eeeeeeeeeeee!!! Yet another Old Guard Dreamcaster washes up upon our little tribes shore! *Winces at mention of our old home...* Mew will spare you the SCHTHACK RANT she's slowly becoming known for...and NO...our data wasn't "LOST"....HOW DA FUK do you 'LOSE' 8 YEARS of DATA????....Crono..No...no...nnnope *takes a deep breath and focuses on being Happy we have you joining us <3!* Is CB1981 gonna be your in game name dear? Thanks for the welcome, and lol yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit perplexed at that too. I weep for the loss of my 35 hit Heaven Striker. The rest of it I'm sure I can find reasonable copies of again, but that one hurt.

As for characters, I've got horrible Alt-itis (though the brilliant sec. id changing ability might reduce that. Some. Maybe), but my primary is a HUcaseal named Aurora. I've been doing a lot of soloing to try to knock the rust off some before embarrassing myself in a group. :D

Aurora....WHY does that pretty name ring a warm bell dammit? If mew had a hit% HS in her toybox...she would surrender to you in a heartbeat! So far mew has had the blessing of stumbling across a few SCHTHACK Survivors and tried to replace what was dearest to them So at the very least make Ephinea feel more of a HOME and less of a PSO PTSD support group. Mew not only got EVERYTHING she lost....but she got it ALL Back in Spades! <3! YOU will too dear! Esp with the quality of holiday events and luck boost %'s we are often treated to! Besides your Hit HS, what eles had hurt the most? H

FWIW I did use the same exact character back on Scht so it's certainly possible we did some runs together. I also played a lot as a support FOmarl back then. And while I genuinely appreciate the offer, I enjoy the hunt so if I'm getting it back I'll get it back the old fashion way. :)

Beyond that I can't say there was *too* much more that I really held all that dear. There was a nice plus hit Vivienne I had on said FOmarl which also stings a bit because god she's so blind. Other than that, not too much really special that I remember. Had a TJS (first one I ever actually found) I had sphered up to 0/100/100/0, so that's more "ugh time investment" than "was actually a great TJS" and a Heaven's Punisher (which I want to say I think I vaguely recall I ended up merging into Millies? Maybe?) and a single Syncesta that were more both "hey I actually found one" than any real value. Most of it's just stuff, and chasing it's a big chunk of the fun, so all good. :D

But I'm still getting my feet wet so I'm looking forward to seeing all of the events and other special stuff - I cannot overstate how oh so very much I love the quality of life improvements -- the item shop actually consistently selling everything, the HP meters for the mobs (this is so intuitive I actually started second guessing myself if it was there on the vanillia BB client lol), the personal drops and fix to the XP system, etc. Really modernizes the game in a great way while not utterly breaking/changing it.

Ahhhh so you're one of those Proud Wolf types that enjoys the Hunt! <3 It's prolly the best unspoken therapy finding your lost stuff....it also provides a proverbial middle finger in the air to what was once our old haunt that had "Lost" all ALL our time, tears, and items. And you're right, Mew had most likely ran a few runs wiff you way back when dear! She may has the Attention span of a POTATO CHIP, but Unique names she remembers for Years! <3! VERY Happy to hear you're enjoying the Quality of Life perks! Makes STAYING here all the moar Worth the effort and time spent among friends! =3
 
Haha i so am. I take it a bit to the unhealthy extreme honestly. The bad old days of the DC era cheating kind of permanently infused me with a "if I didn't see it drop I can't use it" mentality.

But it's funny, i'm the other way around, I am absolutely, embarrassingly, terrible with names, to the degree when i can run into someone I used to work with and then spend the rest of the day trying to remember their name, but I'm good with personalities and stuff, and I feel like there's something familiarish about you. Do you remember any of your characters/teams there?

Mewplushie!, was mew's main kitty! Don't think she really used much eles...Casinomew maybe...lol. =3

Just got to Ult last night, managed to score a god/battle in the process, so I'm at least to the point of not fumbling around hopelessly now. The speed increase seems to be helping the ol' muscle memory come back lol
