Indi Belra long running glitch.

Hi folks,

I know everyone LIKES that Indi Belra shots don't hurt you if you stand still, but this is actually a glitch. It's not intentional.

On the ORIGINAL version of PSO GC, the shots hurt you even if you're standing still. When PSO Ep. 1 and 2 Plus released, the glitch emerged in offline mode only. When playing online, the game behaved exactly the same way as PSO GC Vanilla, and the shots still caused damage when standing still.

For some reason, this glitch from PSO 1&2 Plus seems to have carried over to PSO BB.

Can this be fixed so that Indis cause damage even when stationary? That is really how it was intended.
 
how did they behave on sega BB?

I honestly can't remember. However, the shot CLEARLY passes through your character, so the fact that it doesn't cause damage when standing still is absurd. It's a giant metal (or maybe stone?) arm fired like a rocket.
 
Furthermore, supposing the glitch WAS in original Sega BB, the Ephinea staff have already fixed other Sega oversights (ie. no hit respite in 1p mode which actually made some enemies way more dangerous solo), so I don't think that should be used as a measuring tool.

I don't mean that Ade, I wanted to make a bad joke. This was always like this on BB but as you said other things have been fixed. I wouldn't mind if it was, would make it more fun imo, idm either way

Belras were a very dangerous enemy on Ult Mode PSO GC, especially if your defense was low. It would be nice to see that working as originally intended.
 
But if you stand still next to someone else, they do hit you correct? I always thought this was intended to get people to spread out and not stand near each other like they normally would.
 
I remember this shit when we went from Dreamcast JP v2 to the launch day US Game cube disc. I never bought Plus (so I missed Sega's fix on GC), but once we went to Xbox standing still worked like it was supposed to.

Standing still is not "supposed" to work to dodge it. When you stand still and you get hit by a bullet, it hits you. When you move out of the way, it doesn't hit you. That is the normal way that things work (and 99.9% of games). I'll go load up PSO GC downstairs and take a video on my phone after work. I have the original non-plus PSO GC.

It makes sense that the dodging glitch would work on PSOX because PSO BB is a port of PSOX. PSO GC existed before PSOX and is the benchmark for what was intended.
