This games been out for like 4 years. Why are they just adding this now?

Most players say the same thing about Battle Mode in PSO and that's fine, PSO PvP isn't for everyone and not everyone can be good at it. The PSO Battle Mode community has always been small even back in the V2/GC/Xbox days when there were only around 300ish active players on v2 and probably 200ish on gc/xbox (compared to the thousands of players that stuck to normal mode). So if Normal Mode players don't embrace Bmode it's fine since it's been happening since 2001 when v2 came out lol.

From the video it seems like everyone has to pick up gear in the battle which I like since it reminds me of Rule battles. Definitely going to be a completely different b-mode than PSO but I wasn't expecting it to be since the PSO 2 gameplay is far different than PSO. All I know is it's going to be pretty interesting to finally use the sweet PSO2 controls in PvP .

Opinions do matter but when everyone and their grandmas all say the same thing it gets really annoying. then when the other side wants to say their opinion the ones who don't agree start ripping on us. Just respect each other's opinions. I don't care if your don't agree with it just keep it to yourself and don't argue back

The same reason they took over a year to add another XQ and have yet to expand the level cap again
they were adding more costumes

Battle mode has always been shit imo.
They only time I recall having a little fun was Portable 2's battle mode.
But hey who knows maybe this will be worth something for a while
