What does this mean?

Earlier I found some nice UI mods, but I'm confused by something I keep seeing from one of them. The mod is called Item Reader, and while using it I've seen armors and shields that have information listed that I have no idea what it means. For example there's an armor that is listed as Brave Armor [3/4 | 1/2] [0S] and I'm having trouble figuring out part of that. I know the [0S] is indicating how many slots it has, but I don't understand the [3/4 | 1/2] part of it. Another example is a shield that shows [8/10 | 7/10] but I'm not sure what that means either.

If anyone could explain what the numbers mean I would really appreciate it.
 
Oh I see, I understand now. So for example if something was a 0/5 for both it would mean that it's DFP and EVP are the minimum for that piece of equipment, while if they were a 5/5 for both it would be the maximum. I just did some testing and that definitely seems to be the case. Thank you very much.
