Teams...how do they work?

No seriously, it's foreign to me and any search in any forums turn up Sonic Team devs or asking about party makeups (2 hunter, 1, ranger, 1 force, for example).

But I can't seem to find anything that actually explains what a Team actually IS and how they work.

Guess that's the downside of looking up things for a technically dead game lol.

*Takes a tentive deep breath knowing this thread will get it's share of halpful replies* In a nutshell, 'Teams' was SONIC Team's way of trying to get us all to be social and band together for a common goal and achievements to unlock hidden features in the game...like acquiring a DRESSING ROOM...or special items. Back on Consoles we kinda screwed this up by instead forming informal "Clans" with NO game features or any Real perks...yeah, stupid, we know lol. Even SEGA got frustrated with us by simply giving us the DRESSING ROOM addition if we acquired $10,000 in our characters pockets upon login! But in the private server realm, this IN GAME feature was resurrected and most of us were like "OHHHHhhhh, So THAT'S what it was for?". But yeah...joining a TEAM and contributing TEAMS POINTS by sacrificing rare weapons and armors (Armors were added for sacrificing via the server gods consideration ♡) add a few hidden perks to game play~! =3.

To make a Flag you have to open the option up with team points. then make the image, then put it in the Team flag folder and name it flag.

Hi all! I'm actually also kinda unfamiliar with "Teams". It sounds sort of like "Guilds" in other MMO's?

Kind of a broad question, I guess, but what is the sort of... expectation of players joining a Team? I typically play at odd hours (usually shortly before bed), and I'm also prone to being kind of a wallflower, not really the most social person. It sounds like there are a lot of benefits to joining a Team, but I'd also feel kind of bad if I'm "leeching" off other players' hard work or anything? Or if I occasionally go long bouts of time between logins? (I'm kind of obsessed with Ephinea right now, but I usually play games hardcore, then take a break)
