Question regarding Windows

So, my game runs fine right.
But heres a question, i got a friend who runs Windows 8.1
Is there some special method you need to do to make it run?

No he hasn't launched it yet. i was just wondering since lots o games seem to hate 8.1.
Edit: nvm, doesnt seem like he wants to play it ("too boring" apparently x3)
