Quest enemy counts

Yeah, I used it the other day to find which quest had the most gilchics for Secret Gear hunt, haha. Handy spreadsheet to have around for sure!

Thanks for the links, Soly.

After a good week or so I've finally managed to finish my little program. Read more about it here.

I've included a CSV file with all the enemy counts from the quests in the spsos_ship_v.143.zip file you linked me to. I'm not entirely sure whether it managed to extract all the counts, as it doesn't report errors nicely yet. But I'm working on that.

And about open sourcing your code, you're under no obligation to do anything if you decide to go that route. If you don't want to collaborate or take suggestions, you don't have to. But at least people could learn from your code. :) Although I can definitely understand that you don't want share something you feel is unfinished and don't want to deal with the attention.

Lizards and Yowies look way off for all quests. Other enemies are off a little. I glanced at it using these WoL enemy counts:

Yes, there was a bug related to lizards and yowies, it's fixed now. This spreadsheet is more up to date:

Other enemies could be slightly off because of a bug or just because a manual count was done incorrectly (I assume the counts in the topic you linked too were done by hand). Or possibly because enemies are embedded in the quest file in such a way that you can't actually see/attack them.

Like this one for example:

I spent awhile in pioneer spirit looking for the del rappy :p, it's not real.

Both my quest editor and qedit show it at the end of the curvy, lava spewing room in desert 3. Is this area inaccessible? I've never played the quest.

One of the solo Episode IV quests has a cutscene with a fixed Del Rappy in it that you can never fight, IIRC. The NPC says something like, "Look at all those monsters!"

Yea, not accessible. There's a couple other quests that quest counters say have a fixed rare in them, their either not accessible or don't drop loot. Like Black Papers Deal, I forget the other ones.
