Hey everyone, I'm new to PSOBB, but I played a lot on GameCube when I was younger. I didn't know all that much back then, and I don't remember much now, but I have a ton of nostalgia for this game.

I am looking to start a force character, possibly a FOnewearl or FOmar. I didn't even play online back in my GameCube days, just with friends locally, but I want to play with people now! If anyone is interested in playing with a returning hunter who is still figuring out the controls again, I would really enjoy that. I'm sure once I start remembering how the game works I will adapt quickly. I had a HUcast and a FOnewm on my old game that I played for a long time.

Any tips would be welcome to help me get back into it! I realize that forces are slower to start, but this is the most intriguing playstyle to me. Is there a shortage of any one class, maybe a demand for forces? I'm looking forward to playing together.

As for advice... i'd stick with some high levels to run you through some quests and get hits on enemies to get their exp. I play force too! n.n you can come to me and ill help you!;)

I think you'll find the community is very welcoming to newcomers [the plushie's are everywhere on this server] (n.n)

As for the class tip: it depends on how you feel like playing really, the fomar is like a battle/melee fo [or so I hear, I dont own a functional keyboard so I cant FO worth shit lol] and the fonewearl is the support specialist [again so I hear, rip my FO dreams :p] think newearl gets specialized gear that expands the ranges of some of your support techniques and get the most MST or TP [cant remember which one they get the most of]

Thanks for offering to help me! Unfortunately my play time is limited, I can only be on during the week days around 10 pm CST - midnight. Weekends are a different story. Hopefully we can meet up.

You don't need a keyboard to fo: check out the palette manager tool in tools forum. It gives you 12 more buttons to bind so you can do it on a controller.

Welcome to ephinea! Fomarl is a good choice for support as well, but play whatever you like imo. Nothing worse than getting High level then realizing you hate your character model

Since you had newm and hucast in the past maybe you could try a Ranger to change things up. (that's what I did, and love it. But yeah play any you wish, fo is good fun too ^_^).
