Considering how different the game is since then how hard is it to get used to the new systems?
It's not much different from dc pso except there are two other episodes you can play on and a ton of other quests available. Plus the forums have tons of guides to help you out with anything https://www.pioneer2.net/community/forums/guides.33/
It's not TOO different at all dear! Just about everything you remember is where you last saw it....albeit now with moar player friendly features and quality of life perks consoles Should have had ages ago! Another neat thing is if you has a Wired Xbox360/ONE/PS4 pad laying around...its not only plug and play, but the button layout is similar to your old DC setup....so its like 18 years of muscle memory~! You'll eventually discover the old DC vibe is STILL here waiting for you, just without the asshat hacking or trolls that plagued the old servers. Looking forward to pouncing and playing wiff you! Welcome Home! =3
Is it hard to find groups early on? For that matter should I even worry about grouping early on it just level solo for a while?
early on a lot of parties mew stumbles on are locked rooms full of shy paranoid players from the DC era of hackers ruining their nights =/.
You should be able to find games. I just got to ultimate but I see normal-v.hard games fairly often and if you make a game people will join and help you.
