GameGuard: is it still in Tethella/Ephinea, or has it been removed?

Hello. Trying to get some friends interested in PSO, but having difficulties because they're wary of the GameGuard DRM from the original release. I saw some other threads that imply it's been removed from the Ephinea client and the client available in the thread the Tethella server tools can be downloaded from, but my friends want confirmation before they install it.

I mean, not the biggest download in the world...but yes, Ephinea uses other anti-cheat methods.

GameGuard has been removed.

It has been replaced with VMProtect and some custom Ephinea client and server-side anti-cheat methods.
