Game won't start

Launcher seems to try patch ephinea.dll every time, and never actually launches the app. Running as administrator. Should I re-install? Should I keep ogg to minimize reinstall time..?
 
I downloaded the file fine, but i couldn't launch the game.
Turning high-res hud off seemed to work for me.
 
my lil bro is also having the same problem. keeps trying to patch ephinea.dll . tried deleting ephinea.dll and it made a new one by patching. game still doesnt work xD (high res hud is off)
 
I didn't have my high-res hud on, but I toggled it on/off while saving and launching and also changed some options and no dice yet.
 
Game won't launch for me aswell. It downloaded a quick update upon starting the launcher.

My pc is powered by two hamster and one hamster wheel. I run everything on low.
