I would love some help from a tech expert. My laptop can run games like Halo Infinite, HD OSRS, Minecraft just fine - but last night and this morning it began having trouble with Ephinea. The menus load very quickly. Character select works fine. The light orb loading screen looks incredibly smooth when I shoot the ball of light around. The moment I get into the lobby or if I work my way to a room, it looks like it is playing 3 frames per second. It looks like slow motion. Opening menus is delayed by a few ticks. Any selection takes forever. If I change the Direct3d API, it seems to get slightly better with some options, but is still mostly unplayable. Attached are a few screens under the options Menu. I've played with the settings a lot. Is there anything I should change? Anyone have any idea on how I can correct this?
I've tried what people in past threads have suggested, such as accessing the NVidia Control Pannel and setting it to prefer maximum performance specifically for PSO. I've tried messing with Anti-Alias and Auto frame. Nothing seems to resolve it.
I'd note that the game used to let me launch it in a smaller window. Recently, it started crashing if I launched it in anything but 1920x1080.
