Game keeps closing on start

Hello, I'm not sure what's going on but the launcher starts and everything but once I press "Start Game", the game open and closes almost instantly. I have played on this computer before and it worked fine. I did all the steps on the "readme" note. My only idea would be because the server updated since the last time I played and no longer supports my laptop. (Its an old laptop, using Windows 7...). Any ideas what might be happening?

yes, did all of that. Although this might seem different because the psobb.exe did not get deleted so I dont know

OH okay it had to do was change the resolution and some other display stuff on my laptop.
