Well, After 7 years of Great service, mew's DELL INSPIRON Desktop finally decided to commit Seppuku and the Hard drive died. Sooo, she took it to a local UBREAKIFIX shop and they did a "data transfer" after installing the new Barracuda 1TB Hard drive, buuuuuuut of course EphineaPSOBB won't work. even after hunting down the old files, mew is still getting this Error message 'Not found' in the FAQs. Is there something else she needed to download after they reinstalled WIN10?

Quick google search for the missing DLL and it definitely some old direct X file missing. This might do the trick, data transfers and hard drive clones don’t work perfectly all the time sadly.

Mew may not be IT Savy, but even her antiquated brain was SCREAMING that these UBREAKIFIX geeks didn't have her PSO interests at heart "transferring data".....$131 for WHAT? NO PSO....let's see if your link halps mew return Home~! <3!

AHA!!!! YUP!!! THAT was the Ticket!!! Funny how something "old" was THE Fix~! Mew KNEW something was 'missing'.....THANK YOU~! <3!

Indeed. Data transfers rarely work well and cloning is a bit of a juggling act; some programs work better than others. Over the years, I've had much more success restoring from a backup image created within Windows for clients. The drawback being that you lose everything you've added to Windows since it was last created.
The issue here being that since your drive was one it's way out, things likely got corrupted along the way and that stuff gets transferred as well. I'm curious, is that new Barracuda 1TB a drive you supplied yourself? If not, that $131 for a new drive and transfer seems suspiciously low. Businesses often lower prices to attract clients, but they also have to cut corners somewhere.
In any case, glad you got things sorted out. Welcome back!

Mew had provided her own Seagate Barracuda HDD from Amazon for only $40.
