Easter Egg disappeared

I used an egg while standing in front of the bank in a "one player" episode 1 lobby and it just went "bwoop" like a monomate and then nothing happened. My understanding is that they are supposed to give you a random item from the Easter table.

If something didn't appear in your inventory that should've, especially from something like an event item shop, always try changing blocks first!
