Crash leading to loss of Red Ring drop

I am really just pleading for mercy I guess. But the game crashed moments before I was about to pick up Red Ring in a solo game, preventing me from picking it up, probably due to me trying to take a steam screenshot in a panic.

Apart from this serving as a bug report for the fact stream screenshots can cause the game to crash, this was weeks of work that is soul crushing to lose due to no fault of my own.

It would make me so happy if you could let me have my red ring, but if not please fix this bug to prevent this happening to someone else

I am so sorry to hear you have lost your RR chance and your hard work goes without. I'm sorry to say as well but, no logs or anything will be necessary; this server does not offer any redemption of lost items regardless of case. In fact, staff doesn't even have the ability to offer it even if the situation was deserving regardless of how it tugs on their heartstrings.

As for crashing while taking a picture, no such bug has been noticed but should you find a way to reproduce it enough times it will certainly be looked into. In the future it would be best to collect the item before screenshotting however, as you never know what could happen. I know I get paranoid pressing the wrong thing with these old hands of mine and would much rather have an epic item instead of an epic screenshot.
