Connecting in NZ

I am abroad in New Zealand studying at a university I am trying to connect to the game but get a 903 error. Not sure if there are any problems playing from New Zealand and I need a VPN, or if it has something to do with the wifi used here. Let me know what you all think and I can give more info if needed.
 
I have had to deal with people being blocked off by the campus' network, they might be blocking the game ports.
 
yo, i've been playing from NZ no problems - it might be your campus network, as Soly said.
