"Client too old"...

So I decided to come back to the game after a while, and I guess in the interim my computer decided it doesn't like PSO anymore. I keep getting the same message, "Client executable is too old, please update through the patch server", but I have tried updating it through the launcher and Patch Download and both say I'm up to date. I've tried whitelisting, running in compatibility mode+as an admin, and I'm at a loss of what to do. I've also moved locations and use a new internet connection, so maybe that's it...? I have no clue. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.

how we fix this? can some1 just put directly the actual client on this post please
