Camera Angle Changes

Sometimes when I step on the switch in certain quests that is supposed to negate a camera change, it does nothing. The text appears onscreen 'Camera change disabled', but when I teleport, it doesn't seem to have done anything. This happens most of the time, however there have been some instances where it has worked. I'm almost 100% sure I'm doing something wrong. Please tell me how I can fix this, as it is absolutely debilitating during the middle of quest.

I never heard of such an issue but in some of those quests you can pipe back to p2, and if you go back the camera will be reverted to the normal angle. @EvilUpholsterer
