I always thought it was the countdown of 48 hours after the release time, and then 24 hours after 48 hours. At this time, the bid was reset to 24 hours. SorryThe auction should have already ended.
The 48-hour period applies only to the initial countdown, and any subsequent resets should be 24 hours.
Updated a rule.
This eliminates auctions with longer reset times, making the maximum reset time always 24 hours. The time after an initial bid until an auction ends may still be anywhere from 24 to 72 hours.
- If there is a new current highest bid (CHB) during the final 24 hours of an auction, the countdown is reset to 24 hours.
If organize the timeline, it should be as follows:
1. First bid at 8/20 8:29 AM (UTC)
The 48-hour countdown starts from here.
2. Last bid at 8/21 8:53 AM (UTC)
Since less than 24 hours remained at this point, the countdown reset to 24 hours.
3. No further bids were placed, so the auction ended at 8/22 8:53 AM (UTC).
