a bunch of my friends started playing and i want to put my pds to use. color/mag form doesn't matter, mind mag can be basically anything since its just to get a friend's fo online
the only request on the standard 5/150/45 mags is that they want twins

it is never too late to remove something that doesn't work. should it have been done sooner? sure. but that doesn't mean its too late
people can be cranky that bartles aren't worth 520 experience anymore all they want, there were repeated attempts to make HC actually be "hardcore" and then it...
The main thing is just that every year, we've made constant mistakes with the present list that ultimately tanked value on a lot of items far beyond the intention.
This year, we've opted to leave a fair chunk of the list as just really difficult to get - this way, Presents aren't the main thing...
solo has the same drops and drop rates as multiplayer, yes.
the primary drawback to this is that you're alone, so you only get to roll one drop chance when farming a rare item instead of multiple drop chances across the party.
Thanks to all of you for your input so far. I can't really reply to everything since I'm a ball of anxiety and also very tired, but I will say this:
I will agree in retrospect that stuff like Ray and RM were less bad ideas and more just too common; I simply couldn't fathom the sheer amount of...
Hello there. I'm awful at small talk, so let's cut to the chase; how do you all feel about events in general right now?
The simple fact is that there's not many of us on the dark council of event planning that actively play this game as much as you guys do, so we can be a little out of the loop...
There is no correlation to class vs present drop rates. You are simply experiencing confirmation bias.
Every enemy defeated has a flat 1/1,500 chance of dropping a present, regardless of if you landed the killing blow, only tagged it with debuffs, or were even in the room fighting it.
One Person and Normal modes do not affect the drop rate of Presents, nor does being in a party.
All event items have a flat drop rate regardless of any event boosts and I think regardless of drop anything rate as well? I'm a little hazy on this subject since I just farm and don't bother looking...
I'm not entirely sure of the details of that, but I believe that just means that other items were made more common so fewer things would re-roll and give a higher chance of rolling on a Very Rare present.
The way Presents work is they select an item from the list based on difficulty, then roll...
Personally speaking, the only one I'd say is contentious is the Rambling May.
Holy Ray directly competes with Arrest Raygun/Laser and isn't even equippable by three Rangers and two Hunters,
Asteron Belt has a disgusting special and is primarily only used as an accurate beatstick by some Hunters...
