It 's the closest we get to the quick menu for weps indeed but slightly less efficient. And I didn't find a way to use the menu with a controller without creating a macro for F2 on one of the buttons.

Yeah it's possible get used to switching merges without to much problem with a bit of practice. An additional quick menu for shields would be so useful tho, wish that could be implemented in the game. Best trick I know of (for both wep/merge switch) is to use macros (requires a 3rd party program...

Indeed they are, even without support. And I agree that Freeze/Confuse traps are simply awesome in the hand of experienced players (with very rare exceptions for some monsters like ZUs). But that doesn't make them the best class all the time on any chosen quest/hunt etc, just the best one...

So many things to take into consideration... available gear, pve or pvp or even both, playing in a group or soloing... Imo it's almost impossible to calculate EVERY details and be finally able to say what is the definitive best class since they all have their own specializations. Fomarls are OP...
