Did you copy the launcher or made a link to it? You should make sure it's a link and not a copied launcher that you have on the desktop. Launcher should stay in PSOBB directory along with all the other game files.

By the way, it is possible your mag feed may take more time than 3 minutes and that's because it's not really 3 minutes but the equivalent of 3 minutes at 30 fps. If your fps drops, it will also take you longer to feed your mag lol

The way the original PSO has been done, there are map sections which determines aggro zones, etc. Not entirely accurate per say. There are a bunch of spots in the game that have the same issue.

PSOBB also uses Directx8, I don't think the game design has changed so much over the years, there's alot of leftover code in PSOBB from the PC/DC era.
