Possible Dreamcast Mini? Would that mean... ?!

The following article states that a new website has been launched to celebrate the Dreamcast's 20th anniversary. The article speculates that they maybe planning a Dreamcast Mini console (like the NES Classic). If so... wouldn't PSO be on it?

They could put PSO on it, but I fully doubt they have the server software for their own game anymore. It'd entirely be a offline game lol.

I'd imagine even with a console with full support for an internet connection, it would still rely on the original server being alive for online gameplay...

...without modifying it, of course.

I agree, IF they make DC-mini, AND PSO is on it, it'll be offline mode only.

Who wants to play on servers that are going to be shutdown after some time without support even probably lol? Maybe I would buy a mini DC cuz I can't connect a original DC to my TV lol Be creative Sega and don't copy from Nintendo lol

I think they were talking about a 64 mini release next. I wonder if they could piggyback off of their current Nintendo servers for online multiplayer support...

Sega really wouldn't profit from bringing back their old servers IMO. To bring back something even like gc pso would probably be a bad idea. Pso coming back IMO would be great, but it's just not as popular as it used to be.
