Elemental specials on weapons

Hi hi! Whenever I've used a weapon with an elemental special attack, the special attack did less damage than a charged attack.
I'm not very familiar with damage equations, but are there any situations where those special attacks are worth?

It would be good if something could be done so that they would at least have a niche of use.

Oh, I was referring strictly to weapons that have fire or electric damage.

The only situation where an elemental special is "useful" is a hit Rage de Feu against 3rd form Falz, since tech damage hits through the invincibility. I had a 35h one that was fine for that use. Way off meta, though. I just like niche situational weps.

You gave me an idea... what about dark gunners and their invincibility? It should work too.

It's a real shame. I agree that it's a wasted resource, and it would have been nice if it had been put to some use.

Dark Gunners you should paralyze or freeze, then do physical damage to, don't bother with elemental specials against them. But I'm just a silly lil RAcl and I consistently play off-meta, but I think I'm right about this.
