I am able to put in my name and password. I then select start game and it patches. After patching the only option I have is to hit enter to exit game. I redo the process and same thing happens. It seems to be the same patch. This is my first time trying to install and play. I read the post about first timers and it does not address this problem. Any help would be great thanks!

After you patch, run online.exe to update anything.
If files keep downloading after repeated online.exe and psobb.exe patch loops then most likely Windows Defender or some other program is preventing the game from modifying itself properly.
You'll have to whitelist the game in Windows Defender.
If you've installed the game in a Program Files folder as opposed to a user folder, online.exe would need to be ran as an Administrator too.
One of the tell tale signs of the game not updating correctly is a "DLL ERROR" in the lower left of the game window just before hitting start game and patching from inside the game.
